Dr. Robby Yee, PT, DPT first found his calling in high school when he suffered a crippling back injury. This injury sidelined him from his basketball season and his doctor recommended physical therapy. After experiencing the effects of physical therapy and returning to the court, PT was now what he was interested in as he was entering college.
After graduating from San Diego State University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, he went on to obtain his doctorate degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. Being a Bay Area native, he decided to move back and start practicing in San Francisco. When he is not working, you can find him playing basketball, golf, or bouldering.
Now, Robby’s goal is to make an impact and change his patient’s lives in the same manner that PT changed his when his basketball season seemingly was deemed over. Under the guidance of Dr. Henry and the Atlas Health Group, he hopes to share his experience and knowledge with patients of all backgrounds.
His plan in the future is to not only become a prolific clinician, but also to pursue certification in advanced manual therapy techniques and to obtain his Orthopedic Certified Specialist title. He would one day like to work primarily in the sports world to help athletes return to playing better and smarter.
